REFLECTION
A book each was borrowed from the libraries of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology. Both books were located by entering the word ‘reflection’ into the search function in the online catalogues of the two libraries and selecting the first result. Taking the recurrence of the word ‘reflection’ in the books as a strategy, the project proceeds to merge the two books into one, cover to cover — by alternating the fragments of text between the first ‘reflection’ and the next and erasing the rest.
